EASTER SUNDAY SUPPER!
It was SOOOOOO GOOD to worship in our home church this
Easter! We have really missed being there. Thanks for the warm welcome,
everyone! I truly enjoyed the personal touch of serving cupcakes in the middle
of the service, Father Jim; and the reception afterwards was delightful.
Nick, Amanda, Kyle and Victoria joined us for our Easter
Sunday Supper; and we all had a great time. We started the meal with bread,
prociutto and prosecco (made into a bellini with pear juice for some of us).
Then, Peter roasted a leg of lamb and cooked 2 different small plates of fresh
pasta from the Farmers’ Market yesterday. All were the best ever! He added a perfect
touch of roasted brussel sprouts and cauliflower that Nick and Amanda brought,
and Victoria and Kyle contributed a much needed light dessert of angle food
cake, berries and whipped cream. The meal was splendid, and we thoroughly
enjoyed seeing all of them again.
Sorry the puppies didn’t get to come, too. Maybe next time!!
