A VISIT WITH JILLIAN

How about a really great day spent with one-year-old Jillian and her parents Julie and John? Jillian LOVED the desk I brought for her mom to refinish and sell…something tells me THAT PARTICULAR DESK WILL NEVER BE SOLD! What do you think?

Julie is interested in refinishing furniture, so I brought her some of the furniture from our basement that we needed to discard, with the agreement that they will not return to our basement again! Julie was just fine with that plan, so have a good time with them, Julie. Thanks!

We enjoyed our walk around the neighborhood, and I thought of my grandsons when we passed some construction trucks doing work beside the road. I hope you’ll like that picture, guys! Jillian didn’t appreciate them as much as you do.

John joined us for a delicious lunch of egg salad sandwiches, sweet potato chips and fruit salad. That Jillian holds her own when she gets her hands on fruit! She kept rubbing her hand in a circle on her hip (Jillian’s sign language for “Please, more!”) We had to fight her for our servings of fruit salad.!

After lunch, John took Jillian away for a nap, and he had to go back to work in his office. Julie and I took this opportunity to solve the world’s problems and get caught up on each other’s lives before I headed west to go back home.

It’s always a pleasure to spend some time with all of you. You are doing a GREAT job raising your little girl! She’s a joy to be around. See you again soon!!!
