GIBBS GARDEN IN NORTH
GEORGIA
A proper celebration of Heidi’s retirement was long overdue,
so Brenda and I took her to North Georgia today to celebrate!
We visited a magnificent garden park called Gibbs Gardens.
It’s just opened this year, and the owner/landscaper/developer has spent the
last 30 years making it beautiful and interesting. I hope you’ll enjoy the
flowers, statues and ponds that made it a very special place!
A bit north of Gibbs Gardens was the tiny mountain town of
Blue Ridge. Lunch at a very nice restaurant there and an afternoon of shopping
in the interesting shops made our day complete.
Thanks for letting Brenda and me celebrate your retirement
in the mountains with you, Heidi!!
