Lymphnodic Massage
I was surprised at how many of you showed an interest in
this massage technique. Well, I can highly recommend it. My brother thought it
might be dangerous and would take away too much of the body’s liquids, but I
don’t feel dehydrated at all. Stefania started with my legs, and she pushed
softly on a spot at the top of my thigh, then behind my knee, then on the side
of my ankle. Then, she drew a wavy line with soft pressure connecting those
points for about 20 minutes. The weird thing about it was that it felt more
like she was addressing nerves than muscle. It was all very gentle, but felt so
relaxing. After the legs, she did a similar action with my arms, then stomach, then massaged rather roughly my back
for 5 minutes to wake me back up. It was all very relaxing. She reminded me to
drink lots in the next two-three days, which I do all the time anyway. I was
duly impressed! I will definitely get another one of those massages in the
future.
Reporting from my dreamy state,
Colleen
