Talk about more rich relationships!
We’ve had two weeks of Cati’s family, Peter’s family,
Victoria’s family and mine cavorting around all over Atlanta. More pictures
will come later. Imagine this:
-
Two rambunctious 2-yr-old boys playing together
and getting to know each other, culminating in Harldur ringing the bell to
announce the bride’s entrance at the wedding and Charlie carrying the Bible
with 2 rings attached down the isle to the waiting couple. Fascinating!
-
Hugo walking the length of the hall at my house
for the first time…only when Mommy is waiting with outstretched arms at the
other end. That’s powerful relationship!
-
Transportation from guardian angels, who love
us. Thanks, Nick, Paul, Candace, Brandi, Amanda and the limo driver!
-
Lunch with great friends and Thelma babysitters.
See you in Paris, Chela!
-
Ice Cream with more great friends. It’s not
gelato, but I’ll take it if it comes with Kristen and Chris.
-
Peter’s lunch with the boys
-
Neighbors embracing all of us for meals, play
times, sharing toys and other kid things, taking care of our house and just
being good friends. We treasure your role in our lives, Adam, Haley, Micah,
Jessi and Alex…oh, and Chloe and Zoe, who cried twin 9 year-old tears when they
found out that the boys had left for good. “They don’t really live here?” they
said in heartbreaking unison!
-
Excursions and events with the family to the
Locomotive Museum in Kennesaw, the Kennesaw Mountain Park (with creek, horses,
dogs, and lots of friends to play with), hours in the back yard, visits to the
lake and playground area, watching men in the neighborhood lay sod…instead of
going to the lake…incredible, a celebration in honor of Nonno’s birthday early,
great fun enjoying a Johnson reunion, and a LARGE bag of Arne’s homemade
granola!!! YUM!
-
Victoria’s and Kyle’s family and friends
enjoying fantastic parties…not to mention a most incredibly gorgeous wedding!
-
Congratulations, Kyle and Victoria! We hope you are
enjoying your honeymoon as much as all of us enjoyed what led up to it!!! My
guess is, you are! We love you both.
Back in Italy now, and we’re celebrating Peter’s birthday
again at a weekend at La Traversina. Or, at least I’ll pick him up today at
Malpensa Airport from Puglia to bring him here to celebrate. I’ve been here two
nights already.
Baci e abbracci,
Colleen
