Dragon Park with
Fountains!
Some parks are just special. We visited 2 parks today that
we thoroughly enjoyed. The boys and I waited at a park nearby while their
parents went to a meeting. A GREAT BIG SPREADING OAK TREE was such a fun thing
to play under, and the fountain nearby was neat to just sit in front of and
watch.
The second one we visited today was very close, and we
walked there just in time to find a grandmother who knew how to turn the
fountains on. After a very short time of the boys playing all around the
fountains, Arne came back from getting his “summer haircut” in the winter to
suggest that the boys strip down and play IN the fountains…70 degrees and
sunny, not too cold!
They had a ball chasing the water streams climb into the air
and hitting at them. It was one of those small parks that was just perfect for
a 2-yr-old and a 3-yr-old to have lots of scrumptious fun!
The time came when the sun went behind a cloud, and the boys
soon began to be cold. We put their dry clothes back on them, and each of us
carried one boy on a quick walk back to a warm bath that we called ahead to
order from Cati. What a fun time we had!
Thanks for sharing those Fountain Parks with me, guys!
Love, Nonna!
