Dinner at This’ House

By 7:30, it was good to talk about eating again, eventhough Lee-Anne “drug” me next door to Caffe’ Converso for an affagato about 3 hours before.

We were looking forward to this meal with This (“tees” from Switzerland), and with good cause. The six of us (This, Peter, Larissa, Sebastian, Silvio and I) enjoyed a wonderful meal of beautiful cheese with extra wonderful bread, leak/potato soup, spicy pasta and almond cake with chocolate mousse…simple and VERY TASTY!

This seemed to appreciate Peter’s metal wine rack. We are making progress in getting rid of things we can’t possibly take on an airplane. We hoped that the wine rack would express to This how much we have appreciated his knowledge of wine, as well as his friendship. We shall miss him, but he’ll still be here most of this year, and we’ll be back.
