MAGIC SPIKEY SHOES
I just had to get our grandsons on Skype as quickly as
possible when I saw the man up in our next door neighbor’s tree, getting ready
to cut it down! They were enthralled!
I explained that the man’s shoes had magic spikes that let
him walk up the side of the tree by pushing the spikes into the tree. They were
curious and eager to try it out!
When the first limbs dropped to the ground there was a loud
THUD! Both of the boys jumped back from the computer screen and gasped but
immediately came back, pleading, “We want to see it again!”
Then, the workers took a break, and the one up the tree
climbed back down using his “magic spikey shoes!” I told the workmen that they
could get rich charging admission for such great babysitting entertainment!
SHOPPING FOR A BABY
GIFT
I can hardly wait for Don and Carla to see the baby gift I
found for them. I sure hope their little boy enjoys his in September as much as
Hugo enjoys the one we gave him!!! No other hints…it’ll be a surprise!
TSUNAMI
Brenda, Heidi and I met at Marietta Square to have dinner at
Taqueria Tsunami. I was surprised to find out that it had Latin/Asian food but
very pleased with my dinner salad with corn, peppers, all sorts of greens and
other goodies with a soy vinaigrette dressing. Of course, we always enjoy our
time together, and this event was extra special.
Thanks, ladies! I’m looking forward to our jaunt to Gibbs
Garden in June!
Sorry, no pictures. I got all wrapped up in my interesting
day and totally forgot my new camera. I PROMISE to do better!
Congratulations, Niece Valerie, on your high school
graduation! Enjoy your new camera!!!
