Happy Birthday, Arne!
I’m glad Arne had a happy week of celebrating his birthday.
It’s always best to spread out the fun, don’t you think?
I’m sorry we missed you on Skype today, Arne, but we loved
Cati’s story about Harldur and Hugo during your camping weekend. It seems that
y’all had gotten a bull piñata for the children to open and find fun toys, but
being the gentle hearted one-and-a-half -year-old that Hugo is, when the kids
took a break from their whacking at the bull, Cati saw that Hugo was running
around in circles frantically saying, “Hu! Hu!” over and over. She soon
realized that he was worried that the bull was getting HURT! When Harldur
understood his little brother’s distress, he went directly to the bull and
started hugging him. Of course, Hugo was relieved at this change of attitude
towards the bull and also started caressing it. After quite some time of
reassuring Hugo…and the bull…that there would be no more whacking, the bull
decided to give the children the toys. All was well! How’s that for a lesson in
kindness!?
TRACTOR DAY!
Here are some great tractor pictures especially for our kind
little grandsons. What a cool way to plant our new internet wire, and it was right in our front yard.
Have a great week,
Nonna
