Malga Brigalino was a close drive from Trento, and the animals all around made it an inviting spot for family outings. We looked around a little, but decided to pass on having lunch there…too touristy and not enough malga talk.
This was our last malga, and Peter and I cleverly named ourselves “amalgamates!” J
At dinner with Peter’s friend Francesco, we learned a lot about the history, establishment, politics and policies of the malghe in Trentino. Peter took lots of notes. It was very helpful information for his Ethnobiology project. Francesco was duly impressed with the chocolate cake at Villa Madruzzo, too.
