Malga Museum
Peter was hesitant to leave me today, so we got our Malga information for today from visiting a museum in Trento that had a whole section of Malga items, including a huge straw Malga Man. (see photo). I definitely counted that as Malga input for the day.
Peter also took me for a stroll around our little village of Malgolo…I think just to see how I was functioning with my broken wrist. I must have passed the test because he started making plans to visit other Malgas tomorrow…without me, unless he finds some with roads leading up to them.
Our lunches and suppers continue to be outstanding. Mario, Mayor Sandro’s brother, is the chef. Now we just say to waiter Mayor Sandro, “Don’t tell us what Mario has prepared for us, just bring it on!” We are never disappointed.

SURPRISE!
The ladies at Albergo Nerina were so concerned about me when they heard about my polso roto. They wanted to do something to make me feel better, and they did. Today, they sent me off to Romena to see Marika to get my hair done. What a thoughtful idea. I think Peter was relieved to have a delay in having to help me with that task, too. It felt so good, and I really liked the way my hair turned out.
We got some meds and tooth care products at the farmacia while we were there, then went back to Nerina for lunch and a stroll on the late afternoon. We named my casted arm The Swan in honor of it’s shape, but I think Peter liked the picture best that showed me astride a homemade broom …witch style… in the middle of the apple orchard.
